The first episode of &#8216;Satyamev Jayate&#8217; featured some alarming stats about the mindset of the society towards different sexes.<\/p>\n<p>Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot met Aamir Khan to discuss the possible strategies to combat the issue of female foeticide. The Chief Minister called an emergency meeting to plan against the falling sex ratio in some parts of Rajasthan.<\/p>\n<p>Rajasthan Government moved forward by giving green signal to setting up a fast track court for female foeticide cases.<\/p>\n<p>Madhya Pradesh also took &#8216;Satyamev Jayate&#8217; seriously. The Madhya Pradesh Health Department suspended the licenses of 65 Medical Termination of Pregnancy Centres for not submitting their final reports. This is a major step because it&#8217;s the only way to produce fear in the minds of the culprits. Further, the submitted reports will provide a chance to look into the previous cases.<\/p>\n<p>Apart from these visible impacts, people have taken oath to fight the distinction between the two sexes. Many have come out of their shells and have accepted their faults, and vowed the pledge to fight the problem.<\/p>\n<p>The show&#8217;s popularity could be judged from the fact that the\u00a0official site of Satyamev Jayate crashed within minutes after the telecast of the first episode. And almost 1 lakh people called in order to to talk to Aamir Khan.<\/p>\n<p>But still even after such huge responses from government and people the show&#8217;s TRP remained quite low in metro cities as compared to other shows hosted by celebrities. It got a TRP of\u00a03.79 in Delhi, Mumbai and Kolkata which is decent but not upto the expectations. For instance\u00a0<em>Kaun Banega Crorepati<\/em>\u00a0Season 5 opened with a TRp of 5.24, while <em>Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain?<\/em>\u00a0opened around 4 and <em>Khatron Ke Khiladi<\/em>\u00a0got 4.4.\u00a0Still it&#8217;s not a small feat to achieve in the first week of telecast.<\/p>\n<p>Next episode of Satyamev Jayate would be about <em>&#8220;Child Abuse&#8221;.<\/em> Let&#8217;s see what Aamir Khan does in the second episode of &#8216;Satyamev Jayate&#8217;.
