The Apple vs Samsung battle still continues. Apple has now succeeded in banning Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 all over Europe. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 was found to have infringed on Apple drawings in the year 2004.

It may sound ridiculous to some people but it is the order by the law. After losing to Apple, Samsung issued the statement:

“Should Apple continue to make legal claims based on such a generic design patent, design innovation and progress in the industry could be restricted.”

This is one of the most sensible things ever said by an electronics manufacturer about a court case. However, the damage for Samsung is not that much as expected as the sales of Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 was anyways expected to drop due to the entry of Google Nexus 7 in the market.
