The Top 2021 Menswear Trends For Fall/ Winter

Menswear fashion has had a great year so far with many styles. Now, it is time to wrap up and put those summer clothes at the bottom of the draws. The temperature seemed to go from one end of the spectrum to the other. Have a look at some of these autumn/ winter menswear trends that will keep you warm and dry.

Oversized Outerwear

Oversized clothing seemed to have become extremely popular during the summer months. That is for both males and females. It seemed to be one of the most popular styles for shopping sites to make clothing oversized. Now, that has transitioned to the colder months as well. That could either be with a parka or tailored overcoats.

Oversized jackets and coats are easy to layer as well. Meaning that you can slip a sweater or a long-sleeved turtle neck. If you need any inspiration for a turtleneck with an oversized coat over it, then look at David Beckham. He is a master of this look. When you are layering, remember to switch up the colors to give your outfit more color.

Luxury Loungewear

Luxury loungewear is another trend that would be worn indoors. However, there are a few brands out there that make casual loungewear for the outdoors. These will tend to be the usual sportswear brands such as Adidas and Nike. Luxury loungewear will be more appropriate indoors and it is great to keep you warm.

There is a range of clothing that could be suitable for indoor loungewear, from hoodies to loose-fitting tees (Yes, oversized clothing has been mentioned again). You could also keep it simple with a pajama set for bed. The best point about luxury loungewear is that you can get away with it on a zoom call with work. You can always stay away from the luxury brands and stick with a full tracksuit instead.

Fluffy Fleece

Next, you have got the fluffy fleece. A fleece is what every man needs in their wardrobe. Fleece won’t be good for keeping you dry, although it will be good for keeping you warm. Thick retro fleeces have been popular for many seasons. There are many brands out there that make some great fleece jackets. Berghaus and Patagonia are a couple of brands that make high-quality fleece jackets.

Keep it different with your outfits as well. Make sure that you are just wearing one piece of fleece clothing with each outfit. Mix it up with other fabrics like a pair of denim jeans.

Leather or Bomber Jacket

Leather jackets are not a thing of the past. When you think of leather, you think of John Travolta in Grease Lighting or Tom Cruise in Top Gun. Leather jackets can be worn with some raw denim jeans. You can also wear a leather jacket with pants. We must admit, you have to have a sort of rugged look to pull off a leather jacket. However, if you can pull off that look then you are smashing menswear fashion out the park this autumn/ winter.

A bomber jacket is your alternative to a leather jacket. This is for those men that go for a much cleaner look with their style. A bomber jacket is also the cheaper option compared to leather. Additionally, more often than not, price brings quality when it comes to quality. This is the same with a leather jacket.

Textured Tailoring

Textured tailoring is one of the best trends on this list and looks stylish. When the temperature drops, you will want to abandon those soft fabrics. Materials such as tweed, wool, corduroy, and twill are much warmer fabrics as well. Not to mention that they level up your style as well.

This style is more for your formal events. It could also be a style for an office job. Finish the look off with a pair of Chelsea boots. Not only will you look great but you will also be prepared for the cold weather.

They have been around for many seasons means more and more brands are deciding to create their jackets. Whether it is a ⅓ zip-up pullover jacket or it can be a zip jacket. Many brands have designed their technical jackets with their style. Sports brands such as Under Armour and Adidas. Ted Baker goes for a more fashionable approach for a technical jacket. This will be the better brand if you wish to look more premium.

Chelsea Boots

Chelsea boots are a must-buy item when it comes to your autumn/ winter outfits. They are much more appropriate when it comes to the wetter weather. This style of boot has been around for numerous years now. You will usually see them all year round in the United Kingdom. Not only do these boots keep your feet dry but they manage to keep you on your feet when it gets icy.

To Conclude

There are many things that you will need to change when it comes to your clothing. Your summer clothes will be much lighter and thinner compared to the autumn/ winter apparel. Winter clothing tends to be your clothing which is more for the temperature. It is time to put away those t-shirts. It is time for those long parka coats to be put on with a pair of Chelsea boots.
